About Green Mountain Breast Care Center

Breast Care and Breast Surgery located in Stowe, VT

Our Approach

We start with your concern

You do not need to know the correct medical category before asking for help. The first task is to understand what is happening and determine the appropriate next step.
More

We spend the time.

You should feel both cared for and cared about. New breast cancer and new high-risk consultations are scheduled for 60 minutes directly with Dr. Waterman.

More

We explain the plan

You should understand what was found, what remains uncertain, what needs to happen next, and when they should expect to hear from us.
More

We stay connected

When care occurs through another organization or partner site, GMBCC helps connect the pieces and remains accountable for communication and follow-up.

More

We care across time

Breast health does not begin with a mammogram or end after surgery. Care may extend across risk assessment, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, surveillance, lactation, menopause, andsurvivorship.

Welcome to Green Mountain Breast Care Center

Dr. Waterman and her team provide exceptional breast care for people of all ages at Green Mountain Breast Care Center in Stowe, Vermont. We will walk with you on your journey from evaluation and diagnosis through treatment, recovery, and lifelong breast health.

Our surgical services include breast surgery, breast biopsy, and port placement, with an emphasis on creating a treatment plan that keeps you at the center. We evaluate and treat a wide range of breast concerns, including breast pain, nipple discharge, breast cysts, fibroadenomas, breast asymmetry, gynecomastia, mastitis, breast abscesses, and imaging abnormalities. For patients with noncancerous conditions, our benign breast care approach prioritizes accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and peace of mind.

Exceptional breast care extends beyond surgery. Our practice prioritizes nutrition, exercise, and integrative practices alongside cutting-edge surgical approaches.  We provide lactation support for breastfeeding-related concerns and a dedicated menopause program designed to address changing breast health and wellness throughout midlife. For patients navigating or completing breast cancer treatment, survivorship care offers ongoing guidance and support beyond the initial diagnosis.

Prevention is equally central to our philosophy. Through a personalized lifetime breast cancer risk assessment, we evaluate individual risk factors and help develop informed strategies for screening, prevention, and long-term breast health.

From a concerning imaging finding to a new breast symptom, a surgical consultation, or ongoing preventive care, our practice brings together advanced breast expertise with a highly personalized approach. You deserve care that is both clinically exceptional and deeply attentive.
